Scientific Decoupled Molding
We practice scientific decoupled molding, which focuses on the behavior of the material, not process set points. The controlling of melt viscosity, cavity pressure and melt temperature ensures consistent mold filling and packing, resulting in the reduction of part variation. We perform waveform analysis, utilizing RJG InsightTM, to achieve optimum processing conditions.
Computer Integrated Manufacturing
Computer Integrated Manufacturing and process monitoring are critical to achieving our goal of zero defects. We couple machine process parameters with in-mold sensing devices, such as cavity pressure and melt viscosity. Through our process monitoring, any deviations from engineering limits results in suspect parts being automatically separated from good product. C.I.M. allows for real-time monitoring and quick response to any processing issue.
Training and Mentoring
Thermotech has an advanced in-house training and mentoring program, involving computer-based training, job task training, and performance demonstration evaluations. The training curriculum includes:
