Carburetor for Small Engine

Through a partnership with our customer, we identified the opportunity to convert an Aluminum die cast part to a plastic component. In order to meet the high temperature and tight tolerance requirements, we worked with our resin supplier to develop a custom formulated material for the application. For our customer, the move from metal to plastic resulted in the elimination of costly secondary operations. In addition, part variability was minimized, resulting in a significant reduction in warranty claims.
